libatlas-dev software package provides Automatically Tuned Linear Algebra Software, C header files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libatlas-dev
libatlas-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libatlas-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libatlas-dev *
You will get with libatlas-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
